⇨New Netbook
I finally bought a new lappie last sat. The old one - fujitsu has been failing me for months. The ventilator is spoilt as the whole com is always heated up, even putting the balls to lift up also didn help, the battery totally cannot last, nt even more than a min. The adaptor is v hot as well, sometimes the com cannot receive the power & the whole com wil shut down suddenly. Its really v frustrating. Well, getting it repaired is nt cheap as it not only involves the ventilator, i hv to get the battery & adaptor replaced, hence might as well get a new one..
The old one has seen through better days w me for yrs, ever since poly & i got it fr sch. Practically carrying it w me everywhere i went, especially for sch, been through umpteen UTs, RJs & not forgetting, FYP & daily presentations. And now, its replaced by Acer Aspire One..
Was at Suntec w porkchop & seeyong after wrk, had our dinner, shopped ard & went into Carrefour, saw a few mini laptops on promos, brands such as Axioo, Asus, Lenovo & even LG. The LG one immediately caught my eyes cos the one on display was a PINK one!! lol.. my acer was among the cheapest on sale. $599, U.P $688.. finally decided on tt.. its abt 1.1kg, 1GB RAM & 160GB hard drive. Well, was rather indecisive initially. porkchop kinda hinted me to think abt it & compare w other places but seeyong told me nt to think so much but afterall its my choice... Im in my trial period now, any defects gotta send back within 7days. Hopefully this is worth the price. :)
Happy testing
