⇨Great Fun at SDC Today!!~~!!
woohooo~~!! im back at sdc today! for the script writing course part 2. tot its gg to be yet another boring lesson but it turned out to be so fun!! probably today's topic nt as dry as the previous's. more hands on activities. as in all were presentations be it in team or individual to showcase our "talent". lol. the entire lesson was divided into 3 parts:
1) personal touch
2) object lessons
3) key messages
for the first one - personal touch. edwin (our instructor) wanted us to find sth which we carry w us at tt moment as a thing we cant leave hm without. & give a reason why it is important. the purpose of tt activity was to try relating our own story to the audience by picking an object & using our speech to deliver a msg for the audience. we were given abt a min or two & for me, i picked my handphone as the object. my reason was pretty lame.
i said i cant leave hm w/o my hp cos its a v important device for me to communicate w my bf. i hv to text him everyday to report wat im doing & most importantly early in the morning, while on my way to work, i hv to let him noe im gg to work....blah blah blah... den i also added tt in the afternoon i need my hp to call my mum & tell her whether im gg hm for dinner etc.. and lastly, i said tt i need my hp whnever im in the cinema cos it acts as a torchlight to aid me in finding the correct seat!!! goodness! they all laughed!! tt was so lame i cant believe all these actually came out fr my mouth!.... -.-"
oh well.. the perk of today was the fun experience at the new staff lounge! my 1st time in there after renovations. in my memory, b4 i left for newater, the prev one was damn pathetic, it was located at a corner jus beside the security control rm. a v small room w some sofas & a fridge + a tv & a small dining table. after the renovations... guessed wat?!
it becomes a big room tt has 2 massagers (those portable u can put on the sofa den u lie back it massage ur back), as well as 2 u-gallop fr osim. (isit u-gallop or i-gallop)? anyway, i tried them both & it was so fun!!! the big room comes w a tv & 2 other sofas, a small console & a small pantry at the corner of the rm. accompanying tt, is another secret room which house the KTV!!! omg!!! plenty of beanbags lining the room, substituting as sofas. there is also a booklet containing pages of songlists. a huge monitor screen is at the front & the entire thing is so well-equipped w all the KTV essential facilities! the lighting is dim, the walls are painted black. though barely-furnished, it did make up the feeling of being in a kbox! there is also a foosball in the room so while some are singing, some can play over there.... :)
eh too bad was having so much fun i forgot to take pic! haizzz.... :( nvm nxt time hopefully can take pic as a remembrance cos i seldom go bck thr.
well, a few of us (lyk sharon, serena & eric) really made full use of our remaining lunch time as well as break time to play the foosball & use the KTV & we sang till we were so reluctant to leave! hahas.. no doubt sdc has changed but at least i feel, for this, is a change for the better. :)
