time now: 11.56pm.
8 more hours to my supposedly wake-up time tmr yet here i am, resting my heavy butt onto the chair as though it has been glued, while my fingers are hitting non-stop on the keyboard. the purpose? to type this entry down.
yes. as much as i'm aware i should be sleeping by now but then again, i feel so reluctant to drag myself onto bed, all for the fact tt i wanna make full use of my precious off day. my mind's in a deceiving mode right now - lying to myself tt i don't have to work tmr, which is a sunday. haiz, i forgot when was the last time i had big breakfast on a sun. and i also cant remember when was the last PH i didn't have to work. as you all already know, my rest days are not fixed on weekends, though its pretty much contradicting tt i actually worked office hours. i could compromise my weekends off but not my PH.
so ppl, if you get to rest on the upcoming hols, pls do treasure them ok? cos i have to work on the coming xmas and new yr day (nt inclusive of the eve's of these days). and to add on, i prolly have to work on chinese new yr as well. sounds pathetic right? all these - due to 'work exigencies' or 'shortage of manpower' as my company suggests. so what if the coy pays me double on public holidays? i choose family over money in this manner.
well, just how long can this last anyway? i'm so looking forward to my next job where i get to off on weekends and PH again! yup, up next, job hunting! in the meantime, i'm keeping my fingers crossed tt i don't have to work on chinese new yr then. :p
