as much as i'd loved to spend more time with my family, i'm also beginning to accept the fact that i'm no longer close to my brother, sometimes even harbouring thoughts like, "what should i do if my parents are gone?"

i am no difference from an only child. gone were the days where we chased after one another in the house with towels wrapped around our necks, pretending we were superman. gone were the fun and memorable childhood days where my brother and i shared everything just like any siblings would. here today, these two individuals at an age gap of four years have grown, and drifted. we hardly see each other at home, we hardly spoke. on good days, we shared jokes and laughters. however, most of the time, our exchanged conversation were scarce, so pathetic, i could count the number of lines we spoke, with my fingers.

i feel that he's changed. getting very temperamental. he'd get agitated at the slightest word i said, or actions i made. always disapproving, never supportive. my parents have to tolerate his temper as well, we can't defend cause we will never win him, therefore the whole family had been submissive towards him, its not because he is right but we wanna avoid family disputes.

i don't wish to further any comments. it isn't nice to ill-speak anyone, especially a family member. i just couldn't help it but feel that this is my only mean of getting my emotions off my chest, for i know very well, in reality, the barrier between my brother and i will never be removed.
